Polyurethane foam-filled aluminium rolling shutters are one of the sectors where Dallan excels, having developed and perfected all the machines that make up the complete Sistema Prodotto Tapparella (Rolling Shutter Product System).
The shutter slats are mainly made in prepainted aluminium, even though they may be made in steel, and filled with high- or low-density polyurethane foam according to the required rigidity and use.
Slats from 20 mm up to more than 100 mm wide may be made with a production speed ranging from 30 to 80 metres a minute, with applications that go from a small French window to an industrial door.
Dallan has developed and manufactured machines for hundreds of different shapes and sections in the 30 years since it was established and the functionality of the final product (protection and insulation, slat rolling up) has been well tested and perfected in that time.
Dallan also designs and makes automatic systems for further machining of the shutter slats to allow:
• production of rolling shutter slats of 7 metres, inserted in groups of 4 or 5 sections
• production of rolling shutter slats of 7 metres, inserted in groups of 4 or 5 sections and packaged ready for dispatch
• production of complete curtains, inserted, secured and rolled up
• production of complete curtains, inserted, secured with plastic clip and rolled up
Dallan also produces special plants for aluminium sections co-extruded with plastic material as well as special packaging plants made to specific client requests.
Dallan® machines can also be used to make complementary products, such as the octagonal tube for winding up the shutter, made in various shapes and diameters and with various types of processing, and the sections for making the straight or curved aluminium shutter box.
