Dallan® is based in Italy's Northeast, in a town called Castelfranco Veneto (province of Treviso), 45 km from Venice international airport and 30 km from the Padova Est, Vicenza Ovest and Treviso Sud motorway exits.
Castelfranco Veneto
Castelfranco Veneto's mediaeval castle was built in 1195. The first and second weekend of September, the city hosts the "Palio di Castelfranco" festival: a historic celebration during which the city pays homage to its mediaeval origins and puts on numerous events. Castelfranco is also the birthplace of Giorgione (1478-1510): the famous Italian Renaissance painter lived and worked between Castelfranco and Venice in the fifteenth century.
The town museum www.museocasagiorgione.it is housed inside the castle, near the Cathedral, and is dedicated to the life and works of Giorgione.
